Holy Spirit Boldness
Acts 4:1-32
Early Christians were known for boldly proclaiming the Gospel, even in the face of opposition and persecution. When you face adversity do you pray for God to take it away or do you pray for boldness to face it?
I. Holy Spirit Boldness Is Not A Personality Trait
· It is easy to confuse extroverted character traits as boldness.
· Peter is the perfect example of someone with a bold personality but a weak disposition.
II. Holy Spirit Boldness Is Contagious
· Circumstances do not affect our ability to be bold.
· People are watching how you and I live the Christian life.
III. Holy Spirit Boldness Is Directly Linked To Being With Jesus
· The more you spend time with Jesus, the more you are going to resemble Him.
· Spending time with Jesus is fuel for Holy Spirit boldness.
IV. Holy Spirit Boldness Is Activated Through Prayer
· We need to pray for Holy Spirit boldness because our calling is more important than our comfort.
· All we need to do to be empowered with Holy Spirit boldness is simply ask.
