Philippians 4:10-19
The church budget may seem like an unlikely place to search for opportunity. However, we need to be reminded that the church is God’s plan for reaching His people. As we consider the plans He has for us for this year, may we rediscover the miraculous nature of His provision.
God is preparing us for something.
The Apostle Paul talks very plainly on the subject of stewardship.
I. Missional Generosity Launched the Church- Philippians 4:10-13
Giving is not about the gift, it is always about the blessings conferred to the giver.
There is spiritual power in giving!
II. We find Opportunity Through Allocations Philippians 4:14-16
The church perpetuates itself primarily through teaching.
Your gifts, shared with the church, provide for the many teaching points we support through the budget.

III. We find Opportunity Through Worship Philippians 4:18
This is the description of an Old Testament burnt offering.
Giving is worship!
IV. We find Opportunity Through God’s Provision Philippians 4:19
Paul’s summary statement reflects his confidence in the benevolent will of God to provide for the needs of His children.
