A living faith must experience a growing understanding of truth and must be continually interpreted and related to the needs of each new generation. The closer a church is in doctrine, the closer they are in fellowship and mission. We reaffirm our beliefs!
This I Believe about GOD
God the Father
· We believe in God who is perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power.
God the Son
· We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal, and only begotten Son of God.
God the Holy Spirit
· Exalts Christ
· Convicts of sin
· Declares God’s righteousness and judgment. He calls men to the Savior.
· Effects regeneration
This I Believe about The Nature of Man
Man is Sinful
· We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam's sin, man fell, thereby inheriting a sinful nature and becoming alienated from God.
Man is Tripartite
· The Bible teaches that there are three parts to the nature of man: spirit, soul and body.
Man is Free but Responsible
· Believers and unbelievers are responsible to God for every choice they make.
This I Believe about JESUS CHRIST
Jesus is fully God and fully man and the second person of the Trinity.
This I Believe about THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired word of God, completely true and authoritative in all areas of faith and practice.
The Bible has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter.
