Bear one another's burdens

“If among you, one of your brothers should become poor, in any of your towns within your land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart or shut your hand against your poor brother… Deuteronomy 15:7
If you want to help and don’t know where to start, listed below are some ways to get started both locally and abroad.
The Packs of Love ministry here at North Side Baptist Church meets once a week to pack backpacks with food for the kids and deliver them to the schools.  Call the church office at 817-599-8612 and we will put you in contact with the right person to help with this ministry.
Center of Hope in Weatherford – our church serves and provides lunch once a quarter at the Center of Hope.  There are announcements and sign-up sheets available in the Outlet on the Sundays leading up to our time to serve. You can also contact the Center of Hope on your own to inquire about serving in other capacities and other times.
Needs in Nepal due to earthquakes. Give to @globalhunger and @GoBGR to meet needs in Jesus' name.  “Nobody in this village could have ever imagined that someone would bring this much rice in our time of need. Thank you. It has been more than one week since the earthquake and no one else has come.” Your gifts to Global Hunger Relief support this critical work of Baptist Global Response (BGR) in Nepal.
It’s not too late to make an impact on Nepal. You can help this shaken nation as it tries to rebuild:

There are so many ways to help and many more opportunities than these on this page.  Pray and ask God to direct you to the place He can use you. There are people in need everywhere around us.  There does not have to be a natural disaster. On the streets in the city where you live, in the schools, and in the churches too, are people who need help.  Ask God to open your eyes today.
