Stand: Equipped for the Battle
“The Opposition in Spiritual Warfare”
Ephesians 6:10-12 (CSB)
Key Truth: We fight from victory, not for victory, because the battle belongs to the Lord.
Main Question: How does understanding Satan’s plans and strategies help us to walk more faithfully with Jesus?
1. The battle is real. (vs. 10)
Why don’t we depend on God’s power in the battle?
a. We are spiritually immature.
b. We still have habitual or unconfessed sins.
c. We are too self-reliant.
d. We have a weak and ineffective prayer life.
2. The devil has a plan. (vs.11)
Two Key Questions:
1. What is the spiritual root of the attack that I am experiencing right now?
2. How do I return to “first things” and reorient my focus and obedience on God?
Why don’t we depend on God’s power in the battle?

3. The enemy is spiritual. (vs. 12)
After the Message:
Read Ephesians 6:10-12. Are you engaged in the battle? How has the enemy deceived or distracted you? How will you fight back using the armor of God?
