SEVEN LAWS OF THE HARVEST
– Law 4
We Reap More Than We Sow
Galatians 6:9-10
Galatians 6:9-10
How fundamental this law is not only to the
agricultural world, but also to almost every aspect of our lives, physically,
emotionally and spiritually. The harvest
is always greater than the seed planted.
"You can count the number
of seeds in an apple,
but you can't count the number of apples in a seed."
but you can't count the number of apples in a seed."
I. The Measure of “More”
This law says that man not only “can”
have more but “will” have more based on what he sows.
Whatever a person sows, whether good
or bad, he will reap the benefits or the consequences in a
significantly greater proportion.
II. Negative Reaping of “More”
Mom said, "You better be
careful, you are going to get more than you bargained for."
It is not just sowing of actions
but attitudes that we reap.
What we sow
in the mind and heart are most important.
III. Positive Reaping of “More”
If you want to be blessed, be
a blessing.
God sacrificed his One Son
in order to bring many sons
into glory.
SEVEN LAWS OF THE HARVEST
– Law 5
We Reap in Proportion as We Sow II Corinthians 9:6-11
We Reap in Proportion as We Sow II Corinthians 9:6-11
The fifth law deals with Human
Responsibility and the scope of our planting.
I. The Truth of “Proportionality” 2
Corinthians 9:6
God does not tell us to give
in order to get but to give in order to
give more!!
A good man is known by his character,
not one act.
Minimum Effort does not equal
Maximum Benefit.
II. The Impact and Scope of the Law of
Proportionality
“Scattering” results in only a
portion of the seed actually planting.
The Full Harvest can only come
with a Full Planting.
Full does not always mean volume
but also variety.
