II Peter 1:5-7

To have knowledge alone is not enough. To know how to apply knowledge is power for life.  Such knowledge is considered wisdom.

Wisdom is the ability to optimally apply understanding to produce right living which benefits us, others and God.

· The Seed of Wisdom is Truth  John 14:6

Truth: That which is considered to be the supreme unchangeable reality and to have the ultimate meaning and value of existence.

· The Source of Wisdom is God  Proverbs 9:10

· The School of Wisdom is Life  Proverbs 3:11-12

I cannot truly understand what I “know” until I encounter and experience it in my life.

Knowledge without experience is mere philosophy or speculation.

Many today have a lot of knowledge about the Bible, but do not seem to know very much about God.

Simply put, really smart people do really stupid things.

· The Character of Wisdom is Gentleness  James 3:13-18

The world will not be won by argument but example..  II Timothy 2:23-26

· The Work of Wisdom is Evangelism  I Peter 3:15

Personal spiritual growth is natural when you are active in evangelism.
