III. Recognition of the Urgencyof the Need v.6

Step Five: “Confession”- Admitted to GOD, to ourselves and to another humanbeingthe exact nature of our wrongs. James 5:16
· The apartness of God's thoughtsand ways v.8-9
Step Six: “Trust”- Were entirely ready to have GOD remove all these defects of character. Isaiah 1:19 NIV
V. Recognition of the Powerof God's Word v.10-11
Step Seven: “Surrender”- Humblyasked Him to remove all our shortcomings. James 4:10 NIV
