Knowing The Great I Am
Exodus 3:1-15
The authority
for our theology is a Triune God revealed in history; witnessed to by
scripture and made meaningful by the Holy Spirit in Christian experience.
The proper
pursuit of the knowledge of God will result in a relationship with
the person of God
I.
God is One Who Comes Near &
Invites Us to Know Him.

God’s identity is found in His experience
with those who have gone before us.
II.
God Is One Who Spoke & Who
Continues to Speak.
·
The voice of God is heard through the Word
of God which is as relevant to men today as the day it was written.
III.
God Is One Who Knew Moses &
One Who Knows YOU!
·
God’s knowledge of each person is the most intimate
knowledge man can experience coupled with His complete acceptance of our
being.
IV.
God Is One Who Sees & Hears.
·
God hears more than words; He perceives
the heart of a person.
·
The Omnipresence of God is directly
connected to His Omniscience bringing empathy to every circumstance.
V.
God is One Who Delivers.
·
The Omnipresence and Omniscience of God brings
deliverance through His Omnipotence!
He is the Great Physician, the one Mighty to Save with His weapons
of righteousness and justice!

God continues to deliver His people.
VI.
God Is The One Who Causes All Else
To Be.
·
God's name is YHWH (Yahweh), meaning I AM.
·
God is a being whose very existence is uncaused.
He just exists.
·
He is the First Cause of
everything that does exist through His Son.
