“The Belt of Truth”
Ephesians 6:14-18 (CSB)
Key Truth: We fight from victory, not for victory, because the battle belongs to the Lord.
Main Question: What is the belt of truth and how will it help us in our spiritual battle?
1. The purpose of the belt.
2. The weapon of truth.
What is the nature of relative truth?
a. Relative truth is inconsistent.
b. Relative truth justifies every atrocity in history.
c. Relative truth leaves us without hope.
How do we “buckle” truth around our waist?
1. Acknowledge Jesus as the truth and surrender to Him.
2. Grow in your relationship to Him as the truth.
3. Spend time learning more about His truth (in His Word).
4. Apply His word to your daily life.
5. Proclaim His truth to others through your words and lifestyle.
After the Message:
Read Ephesians 6:14-18. Have you “fastened” God’s truth around you? Are you walking in it every day? How can you do so this week?
